FALL MILE BUILDER - CYCLADES ROUTE 1, 10.10.2020-17.10.2020

Our focus is that you are able to safely and confidently skipper a yacht in all weather conditions; day or night. Furthermore, we strongly believe that in order to become a good skipper, you must first have all the seamanship and nautical skills of a good sailor. To gain these skills, you will be expected to rotate between all crew positions and under the guidance of your skipper/instructor, you will learn how to trim your sails, perform sailing maneuvers, use weather forecasts, navigate using GPS and paper maps, perform harbor maneuvers, anchor and lastly, how to manage your crew. more...

THE YACHT - POGO 36

Delivered in 2017, this yacht is the successor of the highly popular Pogo 10.50. Her robust structure, wide beam that provides unparalleled form stability, double tillers, deep keel and carbon mast are evidence of her strong oceanic racing roots. The new features, inspired from the yards’ latest racing boats, are the more pronounced chines which together with the voluminous bow sections offer great form stability allowing her to glide over the waves at high speeds.  The designer office of Finot-Conq, opted for a set of windows facing towards the front, offering tight sheeting angles and a very aggressive look! The upwind sail area is 74m2 and downwind fun begins with a 120m2 Asymmetric A2 spinnaker!

The yachts' accommodation plan can be found here

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

In addition to the skipper, 6 more crew members will share the accommodation plan which includes 3 double cabins and 1 single berth in the communal area. A full galley, heads with hot water and a cockpit shower are also available. Before the event there will be a crew meeting to provide final details, answer any questions and of course, get acquainted.
