I have been sailing since 1988 on chartered yachts during weekends and summer holidays. I used to own my own yacht, an X-79 with which I visited most of Greek islands on the Aegean sailing short/single handed. I became very active on the regatta scene, winning the Greek National Winter Championship title twice.
Although I have an IT background, after relocating to Switzerland in 2013, I am the organizer of the "Sailing Enthusiasts in Zürich" meetup group, a certified sailbox instructor for their regatta and gennaker courses and maintain the sailbox fleet during winter.
